The Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4050 Spotted in Laptop 2023

Could mobile Ada Lovelace come earlier than expected? The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro laptop, equipped with an Intel Core i7-13700H processor and Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4050 Spotted in Laptop graphics, has been discovered by the @Benchleaks bot. Although the laptop is probably still a few months away, it appears that Nvidia plans to release its GeForce RTX 40-series family of graphics cards for mobile devices as soon as possible.

While it is feasible to mislead the OS into thinking it is dealing with a certain hardware configuration, it is at least not simple. The impending Samsung Galaxy Book Pro machine has been found in the PugetBench database (1, 2), which retrieves system details from Windows. The Best Nvidia GeForce RTX in 2022

Performance-wise, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro model NP960XFH (Core i7-13700H, GeForce RTX 4050, 32GB LPDDR5-6400) achieves 57.4 GPU points in PugetBench while running Premiere Pro 22.6.2, scoring 1,124 overall points. A Dell XPS 15 9520, on the other hand, achieves 1,009 overall points and 48.9 GPU points in the same benchmark (Core i7-12700H, GeForce RTX 3050, 32GB DDR5-4800).

Therefore, it is evident that the upcoming Galaxy Book Pro has a GPU that is 17% quicker than the previous model, which may indicate that a new graphics chip is in use. In the meanwhile, we are unable to confirm if it is based on the Ada Lovelace design or provides any other details.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro model NP960XFH, which uses an Intel Raptor Lake processor, has actually appeared in a benchmark database before, thus it is very likely that the laptop will be launched soon. Considering that both CPU manufacturers and significant OEMs frequently unveil new products at trade shows, it is possible that the 13th Generation Core-powered Galaxy Book Pro may be publicly unveiled at CES in early 2023. Plans do, however, occasionally change.

We can only speculate as to whether the first iterations of Samsung’s new Galaxy Book Pro laptops will utilise the GeForce RTX 4050 from Nvidia (assuming that it is a member of the Ada Lovelace family), or whether the new component will be made available later and initial iterations of the laptops will use integrated graphics or Intel’s Arc A380M.

After releasing its high-end desktop parts, it took Nvidia about seven or eight months to release an entry-level mobile GPU using its Ampere architecture. Therefore, if Nvidia is truly introducing its rumoured AD107 graphics chip in the next several months, it will be a change from the company’s customary launch strategies.
